Puppy Chulo (aka Magnus) is a Miniature Schnoodle. He was born on May 12, 2007 and is the son of Milo (Miniature Poodle) and Suna (Miniature Schnauzier) of Minnesota. He has eight siblings and his favorite toy is Murphy the Moose.
For those not in the know, “Puppy Chulo” is Spanish for “Cute Puppy” and is a play on the term “Papi Chulo”. It’s his nickname and we think it’s quite fitting.
We plan to train him to be a hearing service dog (his Papi is Deaf). Since there are so few resources regarding hearing dog training, we thought we’d start this blog to chronicle our adventures with him, solicit advice from others who’ve been there and pass on what we learn.
